Christmas in the Gospel Homes

Join us in room 200 every Sunday during Advent!

 

The Christmas Season is soon upon us and with it brings the joyful season of Advent for Christians. During the holiday season, many of us look forward to decorating our homes or visiting loved ones’ and observing their decorations and relishing the food and hospitality served to us there.  This season, Vicki Briggs will be teaching a four- week Advent study which will depict each gospel that tells the birth story of Jesus as a unique home preparing for Christmas. This approach will require our imaginations and inspired thoughts to share together and give a special meaning to Advent.

The topic is based on a study written by Cynthia M.   Campbell, Christmas in the Four Gospel Homes and imagines the Gospel books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as houses set for Christmas. Study books are available for $10 in the church office. Please join us for some special Christmas time together.
