INSTALLATION

CEREMONY FOR REV. TRUSSELL

Rev. Miranda Trussell, Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Mexico, will be installed  at a special service to be held here in the sanctuary September 12, at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Trussell’s long-time friend, Ms. Maria Shupe, will be preaching at the service.  Maria is a certified Christian educator and is currently the executive director of Highlands Presbyterian Camp & Conference Center in Allenspark, Colorado.

UPCOMING EVENTS

 

1. Golf the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays in Sept., 5 PM

at Arthur Hills – all golfers welcome.

 

2.      Wed., Sept. 15^th – Warm Springs Ranch Bus Trip – meet at church at 10:30 AM, eat lunch at Bob Evans in Columbia, then to the ranch.  Cost $10 for admission to the ranch, $8 to ride the bus, lunch on your own.  Sign up extended until Sept. 7^th.  Come enjoy the day and bring a friend if you’d like!

 

3.      Sun., Oct. 3^rd – Family Wiener Roast at the Green’s Lake in Auxvasse, 3 PM - games, fishing, boating, etc; 5 PM Wiener Roast.  Plan to bring the family and have an evening of fun.

 

4.  Sun., Nov. 14^th – Bus trip to Arrow Rock to see “Nuncracker, the Nunsense Christmas Musical”.  Tickets are $24 plus $10 to ride the    bus.
