May Schedule of

Sunday Events:

Sundays in May will be a busy time in the life of our church. We hope you will be able to join us for each

memorable occasion!

· May 2—Endowment Sunday. Brochures detailing our endowment program and donation envelopes will be available. Communion will be served.

· May 9—Come celebrate the gifts of women.

· May 16—Confirmation Sunday and recognition of our graduating seniors.

· May 23—ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 10:00 (Sunday school at 9:00). Sunday school teachers will be recognized for their dedication and service to the children of FPC. Upon the recommendation of the APNC for Associate Pastor of Christian Education, Ms. Robbie Miranda Trussell will be here to preach. A congregational meeting to call Ms. Trussell as our Associate Pastor for Christian Education will be held following the worship service.

    The congregation will gather in the     fellowship hall after the congregational meeting for a coffee hour. It’s Pentecost—don’t forget to wear RED!

· May 30—ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 10:00 (Sunday school at 9:00). 

          

 
First Presbyterian Church Text Box: TRIENNIUM STOCKHOLDER CAMPAIGN This year we have 7 participants attending Triennium, Anne Baker, Marissa Brown, Andrew Cauthorn, Kelsey Creed, Klaria Ekern, Kaitlin Harlow, Ben Zinkel, and 2 chaperones, Michael and Vickie Moore. We are asking for your support by helping us raise money for these participants to go to Purdue University in July. While at Purdue, they will interact with over 4,000 other Presbyterians and share experiences about Christ and learn lifelong skills. We are holding a stockholder campaign from April 25 to May 30, sign up downstairs every Sunday. The campaign will have two levels. Anyone who donates $25 or more will receive daily emails and pictures of the trip. Anyone who donates $50 or more will receive dinner for two served by the youth. Thank-you for your support.

CONFIRMATION

SUNDAY is May 16

         First Presbyterian Church Confirmation Class has been meeting each Sunday for several months. Monday, May 10, they will meet with the session, share their statements of faith, and be received by the congregation during the worship services on May 16. Class members are: Kamden Ekern, Barrett        Hutchinson, Layne Ray, and Kirby  Weber.
