Nancy Caverly is Recipient of the 2009 P. W. Life

Membership Award

             On December 10, at the Annual Presbyterian Women’s Christmas Luncheon, Nancy Caverly, (pictured) became the honorary recipient of the Life Membership in Presbyterian Women. This honor signifies a life of commitment to Christ and the mission of the church. Moderators, leaders, teachers, officers, pastors, and missionaries have been among recipients of this honor.

 

The elders and deacons along with our pastor will be participating in their annual planning retreat

Saturday, January 9,

at Twin Lakes Lodge.

Please be in prayer for this event.  Elders and deacons, call or email the office with  reservations by Dec. 31.
Text Box: Officers to be ordained and installed at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 31— reception to follow. On Sunday, January 31, at the 10:00 a.m. worship service, the following officers will be ordained and/or installed: Class of ‘12; Elders: Deb Haag, Pat Maguire, Shar Schnake, Connie Ward; Deacons: Barb Brandt, Kenny Dowell, Liz Schutte, Tori Webber and Class of ‘10; Ben Zinkel (Youth). Everyone is invited to a reception following the 10:00 a.m. worship service, at which time, the new class of elders and deacons will form a receiving line to accept congratulations on their new role.

The unhanging or taking down of the greens will occur on Sunday, January 3rd at 5:00.  Just as you have to pack away all of those lovely Christmas  decorations at home, so do we here at church. Please come and help.
